Sollten Sie einen Vorbereitungskurs auf die Berufsprüfung zum Verkaufsfachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis / zur Verkaufsfachfrau mit eidg. Fachausweis komplett absolviert haben, so erhalten Sie im Normalfall von den Schulen ein Zertifikat über die Kursteilnahme. Dieses ist jedoch mit dem eidgenössischen Fachausweis nicht identisch, so dass erst das Bestehen der Berufsprüfung für Verkaufsfachleute Ihnen diesen eidg. Fachausweis einbringt.

According to a survey conducted by the education platform Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch, people interested in the Sales Specialist course answered this question as follows:

  • 5 % "The course is often mentioned in job advertisements"

Die Prüfungsordnung schreibt den Besuch eines Vorbereitungskurses auf die Berufsprüfung Verkaufsfachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis / Verkaufsfachfrau mit eidg. Fachausweis nicht zwingend vor, so dass es auch möglich ist, die Prüfung ohne den vorangegangenen Besuch einer Schule zur Vorbereitung abzulegen. Jedoch ist dies nur dann ratsam, wenn Sie einen solchen Kurs bereits absolviert haben und nun die Prüfung beim ersten Mal nicht bestanden haben oder absagen mussten. In anderen Fällen, selbst wenn Sie bereits einige vergleichbare Aus- und Weiterbildungen absolviert haben, ist  von der Entscheidung, nicht an einem Vorbereitungskurs teilzunehmen, jedoch abzuraten, da der Umfang des vermittelten Wissens nicht zu unterschätzen ist (siehe Wegleitung. Unverbindlich anzufordern bei den Schulen).

The requirements for admission to the federal professional examination are

  • EFZ, diploma from a state-recognized commercial secondary school/diploma secondary school/technical secondary school or high school diploma and at least two years of relevant professional experience

Or

  • EBA and at least three years of relevant professional experience.

The following further training courses can be completed after the sales specialist training:

  • Higher professional examination for the federal diploma as sales manager, foreign trade manager or marketing manager
  • Higher technical college HF in marketing management or business administration
  • With a vocational baccalaureate: Business Administration at a university of applied sciences

Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch asked those interested in sales specialist training or sales specialist training with a professional examination. A total of 41% said that their interest in individual training institutes came from online reviews. On the other hand, 31 % choose schools for their training inquiry based on a recommendation. 28% of survey participants ask schools for detailed information about the course because they already know them. This also shows how helpful online evaluations of schools are for the choice of sales specialist training, which is why many evaluations of schools are also integrated on the education platform Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch. Based on additional text responses, we learned further reasons from prospective students for enquiring about schools: "is close to home", "due to school times", "came across it via social media", "location", "because the training here is 3 semesters instead of 2 and it starts this year in October", "well located", "came across it by chance", "good and clear homepage" and "because it may be in Italian".

Nicht jede Schule, bei der Sie sich auf die Berufsprüfung zum Verkaufsfachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis vorbereiten können, bietet beide Vertiefungen, Innendienst und Aussendienst, an. Manche Bildungsanbieter haben sich ausschliesslich auf eine Vertiefungsrichtung der Verkaufsfachmann Weiterbildung spezialisiert, so dass es notwendig ist, dass Sie sich vor der Anmeldung über diesen Punkt direkt bei den einzelnen Schulen informieren. Wer einen schweizerischen Bildungsabschluss des Berufsverbandes Swiss Marketing (SMC) als Verkaufsfachleute ab Feburar 2021 erwirbt, erhält ein europäisches Zertifikat. Auch rückwirkend können sich Absolventen frühere eidg. Fachausweise rückwirkend nach europäischem Standart zertifizeriert werden - mindestens 10 Jahre zurück. Der SMC ist offizieller Zertifizierungspartner von EMC (European Marketing Confederation). Dadurch ist der Abschluss mit europäoscher Anerkennung möglich, der diesen international vergleichbarer und verständlicher macht. Als Verkaufsfachfrau oder Verkaufsfachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis dürfen sich Junior Sales Manager nennen.

  • Postal basket task "Prioritize and plan everyday activities"
  • Presentation and technical discussions (oral) "Processing case study and presentation of results as well as technical discussion"

In einer Umfrage über die Weiterbildung zum Verkaufsfachmann oder zur Verkaufsfachfrau gaben 93 % der Befragten an, sie haben in den ersten ein bis zwei Jahren nach Abschluss des Lehrgangs mehr Lohn bekommen. Bei etwas mehr als der Hälfte der Befragten waren dies 1-10 Prozent mehr Lohn, 27% bekamen 11-20 Prozent mehr Lohn und 13 % erhielten gar eine Lohnerhöhung von 21 bis 30%. Diese Angaben zeigen deutlich, dass sich eine Bildungsmassnahme in der Regel auch finanziell lohnt, von den neu erworbenen persönlichen und beruflichen Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten gar nicht zu reden. Dieses Ergebnis untermauert auch die Weiterbildungsexpertin Therese  E. Zimmermann. Sie gibt an, dass sich eine Weiterbildung zum Verkaufsfachmann oder zur Verkaufsfachfrau meist mit einer Lohnerhöhung von etwa  5 bis 20 Prozent bemerkbar macht. (Zu der Studie)
