The real estate marketing clerk training is aimed at people who want to enter the real estate industry. The training is also helpful for people who are already working in the real estate industry. You can acquire or refresh and supplement your existing basic knowledge of real estate marketing.

The "SVIT Real Estate Marketer" courses provide a solid basis for entering the world of real estate and launching a successful career. Those who train or continue their education at the SVIT School of the Swiss Real Estate Association increase their chances of advancement in the industry and keep their knowledge up to date. Thanks to its proximity to the market, SVIT is able to respond to the latest challenges in practice and ensure the necessary training quality.

A real estate marketer needs the following qualities:

  • Sociability and communication skills
  • Customer and service orientation
  • Enjoy administrative work
  • Oral and written fluency
  • Sales flair

The training courses recognized by the Swiss Real Estate Association consist of 2 modules:

  • "Real estate marketing assistant"

and

  • "Real estate valuation assistant"

Each module comprises around 60 lessons and is concluded with an examination. On completion of both modules, the "SVIT Marketing and Valuation Officer" certificate is issued.

As a Real Estate Marketing Specialist, you can develop your career in the following ways:

  • Complete the second part of the "Real Estate Valuation Assistant" training in order to be certified as a "SVIT Marketing and Valuation Specialist"
  • Complete the professional examination to become a real estate marketer with a federal certificate (or a real estate appraiser with a federal certificate)

The marketing of real estate works as follows (whether for the marketing of commercial real estate or private real estate):

  1. Define target group
  2. Make your price expectations clear
  3. Present the property as favorably as possible
  4. Create a high-quality real estate exposé
  5. Define communication and distribution policy
  6. Achieving a profitable sale through skillful marketing

A real estate marketing assistant has the following tasks:

  • Preparation of sales documents

  • Clarify legal issues (land, land register, ownership, purchase contracts)
