Die Inhalte eines Lehrgangs zum Reha-Techniker legt jede Schule eigenständig fest, so dass diese stark variieren können, vor allem bei Zertifikatslehrgängen. Bei Kursen hingegen, welche auf eidgenössische Prüfungen vorbereiten, etwa auf die Berufsprüfung zum Fachmann / zur Fachfrau für Rehatechnik (BP) richtet sich der Unterricht nach den Vorgaben der Prüfungsordnung. Diese verlangt von den Teilnehmern drei Modulabschlüsse, die da sind:

Medizinisches Erfassen und Verstehen
Fachwissen (Steuerungsinstrumente, versicherungs-relevante Abläufe, Anwendung von Überwachungsinstrumenten,..)

Welche Voraussetzungen muss ich für eine Ausbildung zum Reha-Techniker erfüllen?

Die Weiterbildung zum/zur Reha-Techniker/in mit Zertifikat setzt bei den Teilnehmern medizinisches Grundlagenwissen voraus, besonders in der Anatomie und den Krankheitsbildern. Aus diesem Grund sind vor allem Fachpersonen aus den Bereichen der Pflege, der Medizin und der Therapie angesprochen. Für die Weiterbildung zur Berufsprüfung (BP) Fachmann / Fachfrau für Rehatechnik mit eidg. Fachausweis wir eine abgeschlossene Berufslehre, ein Maturitätszeugnis oder ein gleichwertiger Ausweis vorausgesetzt, sowie Praxiserfahrung von mindestens zwei Jahren in einem Reha-Betrieb. Wer keinen dieser Ausweise besitzt, der muss mindestens sechs Jahre Berufserfahrung im Rehabilitationsbereich gesammelt haben. Für die Teilnahme an der Berufsprüfung sind zudem drei Modulabschlüsse vorgewiesen werden und es darf kein Eintrag im Zentralstrafregister vorliegen.

Wie lange dauert eine Ausbildung zum Reha-Techniker?

Die Ausbildung zum Fachmann bzw. zur Fachfrau für Rehatechnik mit eidg. Fachausweis dauert in der Regel ein Jahr.
