The duration of a primary education course depends on the educational offer or degree.

If the Primary Education training is designed as a course with a school certificate, it can last a few days (often 2-10 days).

If, for example, it is designed as a postgraduate course at a university, then it will take correspondingly longer. A CAS takes one semester, an MAS two years.

It is best to contact the provider of your choice directly.

This depends entirely on how the primary education course is structured or designed. If it is structured as full-time training, then probably not.

In most cases, however, primary education training is designed to be completed alongside your job, so that you can continue to work and therefore do not have to worry about a major loss of salary.

Whether the primary education training concludes with a federally recognized qualification, such as a Certificate of Advanced Studies, or with a so-called school certificate depends entirely on the training offered.

The target group for primary education training is basically teachers and head teachers.

The costs for a primary education course are set independently by the schools. They can therefore vary from provider to provider.
