What is your name and what do you do for a living?

My name is Eva Wyss. I come from beautiful Thurgau. I have my own small health studio.

What kind of training did you book to become a qualified beautician?

I completed a one-year training course to become a qualified beautician at Bella Vita Academy.

Why did you choose the Bella Vita Academy to train as a beautician?

My sister, who also works in the massage and beauty sector, recommended the Bella Vita Academy to me. She told me what the training course was like and how competent the lecturer was. This led me to the Bella Vita Academy for an initial interview, where I immediately felt at ease. There was a warm and pleasant atmosphere. And it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to do the course, despite the long journey from Thurgau. I still have fond memories of it today.

How can you use what you have learned in everyday life?

I can apply what I learned during my training every day as a beautician. For me, cosmetics is not just about beautifying, but I also want to help the people who entrust themselves to me. Many have skin problems that I can treat with effective skin care products and targeted treatments. I want to be a professional point of contact for my customers when it comes to cosmetic advice and be able to fulfill their skin-related wishes. If they are happy, then so am I.

What did you particularly like about the Bella Vita Academy?

If you attend a training course at the Bella Vita Academy, it is also possible to take part in other ongoing training courses as a model. This is interesting for everyone involved. For example, I was able to get a taste of the Bach flower training and get advice. That was very exciting for me and is a good way to get to know other training and further education courses.

What did you particularly like about training as a beautician?

I actually liked everything about the beautician training course. The participants, the atmosphere and the competent training itself. From theory to practice, we were taught everything very well. I thought the sense of community and the lecturer's great flexibility in moving the theory training outside when the summer weather was nice was unique and fantastic.

Did you also face any challenges?

I certainly had challenges to overcome during my training as a qualified beautician. For example, as a foreigner, the German language and especially writing in German. Nevertheless, I mastered it well and with a positive attitude.

What did you gain from your training as a qualified beautician?

Thanks to my training as a qualified beautician, I was able to expand my range of services. This has also enabled me to acquire many new customers. I would now like to continue my training in the field of apparative cosmetics. I am glad to have learned how to recognize and differentiate between skin changes and diseases. I particularly enjoy using fruit acid treatments. I have achieved very good results to date, particularly in the areas of acne and pigmentation spot treatment and anti-ageing.

Can you recommend the cosmetics training to others?

I would definitely recommend the cosmetics training course at the Bella Vita Academy to others. Mainly to people who want to develop further in the cosmetic field. All those who are looking for competent professional training to become a qualified beautician and want to learn a lot of new things.
