The structure of positive psychology training, courses and further education can vary greatly depending on the provider. As a rule, however, the training courses are modular and designed to be taken part-time.

In principle, positive psychology training, courses and further training are open to anyone who is interested and would like to further their education in this field. Depending on the target group of the course (beginners or advanced) and the provider, the admission requirements may vary. It is best to contact the provider of your choice directly.

The course content of positive psychology training, courses and further training are not uniformly regulated by the federal government. They can therefore differ from provider to provider. However, the following topics are often covered:

• Basic knowledge of resilience
• Basic knowledge of positive psychology and happiness research
• Concepts of self-efficacy
• Values, meaning and goal of a self-determined life
• Models of stress experience
• Mindful Leadership

Positive psychology training, courses and further education are aimed at a wide audience. For example, it is aimed at (prospective) coaches and counselors, educational specialists, social work, care and pastoral care professionals, as well as managers from all areas.

Whether you need to already have specialist knowledge for a positive psychology training, course or further training depends on the target group and the structure of the training program.
