The Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management takes six semesters in the standard period of study, and correspondingly longer for part-time and part-time students.

The following requirements exist for an FH in Industrial Engineering and Management (Fachhochschule Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen):

• Completion of three years of basic vocational training in a field related to the field of study with a technical, commercial or design vocational baccalaureate

• High school diploma and one year of work experience in a field related to the field of study

Or

• High school diploma and internship contract with a company (for practice-integrated Bachelor's degree program)

An industrial engineer at a university of applied sciences usually performs the following tasks:

An einigen Fachhochschulen ist es möglich, ein Bachelorstudiengang zum Wirtschaftsingenieur FH berufsbegleitend zu absolvieren, jedoch nicht an allen.
