Ayurveda - the wisdom of life

If you would like to learn how to use Ayurvedic healing methods, then it is worthwhile taking part in an appropriate training or further education course on the subject.

 

Ayurveda originally comes from India and Ayur means knowledge, Veda means life. The philosophy of this method is that inner balance must be present in order for the body to remain healthy. The three bio-energies, also known as life energies or doshas, wind (vata), air (pitta) and earth (kapha), should blend together in harmony and be present in balanced proportions. In Ayurveda, the diet is often changed and there are strict guidelines that should be followed. Body, mind and soul are treated simultaneously.

Die meisten Europäer kennen vor allem die Ayurveda-Massage, die zur Harmonisierung beitragen und Körper, Geist und Seele wieder in Einklang bringen soll. Doch gibt es nicht nur die eine Massage, die diese Lebenslehre umfasst, sondern eine Vielzahl an Einzelanwendungen und Kombinationen, wie Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Mykabyanga, Garshan, Shirobhyanga oder Nabhi-Marma. All diese Behandlungen dienen dazu, das eigene Wohlbefinden zu verbessern, was jedoch nicht nur durch Massagen erreicht werden kann, sondern in der jahrtausendalten Tradition vor allem in Indien, Sri Lanka und Nepal eine Kombination aus den unterschiedlichsten Lebensbereichen darrstellt. Dazu gehören:
  • Massagen
  • Ernährung
  • Yoga
  • Pflanzenheilkunde
Damit Sie sich mit der Ayurveda-Methode bem ErfahrungsMedizinischen Register (EMR) einschreiben können, sind verschiedenste Kriterien zu erfüllen, die unter anderem regelmässige Fortbildungen, eine berufsmässige Ausübung Ihrer therapeutischen Fähigkeiten und einige weitere Kriterien beinhaltet. Doch bereits bei der Wahl der geeigneten Schule sollten Sie unbedingt darauf achten, dass diese auch nach den EMR-Richtlinien unterrichtet, sofern Sie eine Registrierung zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt anstreben. Um sich für die Methode Nr 22 zu registrieren, sind für einen Erfahrungsmedizinischen Ausbildungsnachweis mindestens 500 Lernstunden vorzuweisen. Davon mindestens:
  • 150 Lernstunden Ayurveda-Ernährungsberatung (Methode Nr. 24)
  • 150 Lernstunden Ayurveda-Massage (Methode Nr. 28)
  • 200 Lernstunden Ayurveda Grundwissen
Die Ayurveda ist eine ganzheitliche Heilkunst, die auf einem harmonischen Miteinander von Körper und Seele beruht. Aus diesem Grund gibt es auch nicht ausschliesslich den einen möglichen Kurs, den Sie besuchen können, um diese Kunst und Lebensweisheit zu verstehen. Ihnen bieten sich vielfältige Möglichkeiten, das Spektrum der Ayurveda kennen und anwenden zu lernen. Sei dies in einem Lehrgang für Mediziner oder komplette Laien, in einem Kochkurs, in einem Seminar für Ayurvedische Ernährung, Psychologie oder Fussmassage. Auch ist es möglich, Hochschulstudiengänge in diesem Fachbereich zu besuchen, beispielsweise ein Master of Science in Ayurveda-Medizin.
Das Masterstudium in Ayurveda richtet sich an Mediziner und Heilpraktiker, ebenso wie an erfahrene Personen aus dem Gesundheitswesen, die sich umfassend weiterbilden möchten. Dies können Physiotherapeuten, Altenpfleger oder Apothekerinnen sein, die über eine solide Grundausbildung in der Humanmedizin sowie Berufserfahrung verfügen.
