Respiratory therapist training - an interesting profession in the health sector

Would you like to pursue further training in the health sector? Would you like to work as a respiratory therapist? It is possible to complete an extra-occupational training course in respiratory therapy. This form of therapy is very helpful for various illnesses, complaints and stress and can be used by patients themselves at any time in the form of exercises. The aim of breathing therapy is to increase self-awareness and thereby break down physical barriers and psychological blockages. This also leads to a development of the senses. It is an ideal form of prevention, as well as promoting healing. Breath therapy is often used in conjunction with other healing methods, such as physiotherapy or psychotherapy. The respiratory therapist works in their own practice, in a medical, psychotherapeutic or complementary therapy practice or in a corresponding institution. The training is completed with a school diploma. Die Zulassungsbedingungen zu diesem Lehrgang zum Atemtherapeuten / zur Atemtherapeutin unterscheiden sich je nach Bildungseinrichtung. Meist wird jedoch eine Vorbildung in einem
  • sozialen,
  • unterrichtenden,
  • bildenden,
  • pädagogischen,
  • therapeutischen,
  • medizinischen,
  • pflegerischen oder
  • bewegungs- und körperlichen
Bereich vorausgesetzt. Für Interessenten mit einer anderen Vorbildung beseht die Aufnahme zum Lehrgang in Athemtherapie nach eingehender Eignungsabklärung und einem Vorgespräch.
Es gibt keinen festgelegten Zeitraum für eine Ausbildung in der Atemtherapie, da dies immer eine Entscheidung der einzelnen Schulen ist. Möglich ist es jedoch zum Beispiel, für diese Form der Weiterbildung ein Modell zu wählen, dass es Ihnen erlaubt, Ihr alltägliches Leben nahezu wie bisher weiterzuleben und nur alle vier Wochen einen Nachmittag sowie einen Samstag für diesen Kurs zu investieren. Selbstverständlich dauert dieser Lehrgang in einem solchen Fall länger, als wenn Sie ihn in Form eines Kompaktseminars buchen würden, und zwar etwa zwei Jahr bis zum Diplomabschluss, er bietet Ihnen aber die Möglichkeit, ohne nennenswerte zeitliche Einbussen diese Ausbildung zur Atemtherapeutin / zum Atemtherapeuten zu absolvieren.
Eine umfassende Ausbildung im Bereich der Atemtherapie bereitet Sie auf die selbständige Arbeit mit Klienten vor, die unter den unterschiedlichsten körperlichen wie psychischen Beschwerden leiden bzw. zur Gesundheitsprävention Behandlungen der Atemarbeit erfahren möchten. Als ausgebildeter Atemtherapeut bzw. Atemtherapeutin sind Sie in der Lage, Atembehandlungen, Bewegungs- und Atemübungen eigenständig und individuell für jeden Menschen und Zustand durchzuführen. Dazu erwerben Sie während Ihrer Ausbildung im Atemtraining auch Kompetenzen im Bereich der Pathologie, Physiologie, Anatomie, Gesprächsführung und Psychologie. Sie schulen Ihre Achtsamkeit und fördern die Selbstwahrnehmung.
Ganzheitliche Atemtherapeuten und Atemtherapeutinnen sind sowohl Teilzeit, als auch Vollzeit in Arztpraxen, in Rehabilitationszentren, in Spitälern, Instituten im Sucht-Bereich sowie in Altersheimen tätig. Oftmals übernehmen sie auch selbständige Beratungs- und Therapiepraxen, geben Seminare für Firmen und Privatpersonen oder leiten beispielsweise eine Bewegungs- und Atemgruppe.
