The SVF Leadership Certificate is the basic course and a prerequisite for all further training levels in the area of leadership. The SVF Leadership Certificate certifies proven leadership skills. SVF is an abbreviation for the Swiss Association for Leadership Training. The SVF Leadership certificate is the most important basic certificate for leadership training in Switzerland.

The examination is divided into a written block and an oral block, which take place twice a year in March and September. The written examinations take two days and the oral examinations take place over a period of around 14 days. Seven modules are tested: Oral Communication, Written Communication, Conflict Management, Presentation, Self-Knowledge, Self-Management and Leading a Team/Group.
